Welcome to Midway United Methodist Church! Thanks for visiting MUMC on the web. You and I may have something in common already...I'm fairly new to MUMC too. I was appointed as Pastor in June of 2011. And, I've quickly fallen in love with the people of MUMC. They have welcomed my family into their family with open arms (and open gardens too).
So far I can tell that we are a warm community of authentic people who are intentional about following Jesus as closely and as often as we can in the journey of faith. This intention is expressed in our weekly worship (upreach), our study and application of Jesus' teachings (inreach), our mutual care and support of one another along the journey (across-reach), and in how we welcome others and work to relieve suffering in Jesus' name (outreach).
We are a church extending our reach up, in, across, and out! We welcome prospective members and guests who are eager to extend their reach with us and join us in the journey of following Jesus. Our church family includes all ages and stages from Forsyth, Fulton, Cherokee, and Hall counties. We have three unique worship services each week.

The fellowship hall has two stories of classrooms, a full gymnasium, a commercial kitchen and dining area for church suppers, and a youth room and library. a BBQ pavilion, a jungle gym playground, and a sports field. Our signature outreach programs include the Fall and Spring Children's Consignment Sales, our "world-famous" Chicken BBQ, Wee Wonder Pre-School and FunKidz after-school programs, and our Sunday Night Live for middle and high school youth.
