
Jennie Andone
Senior Pastor
With nearly three decades of experience in the ministry, Pastor Jennie came to Midway in June 2018 having most recently served as Sr. Pastor at Elizabeth Lee UMC in Chickamauga, GA, where the church experienced tremendous growth. A native of Roswell, she was raised in Roswell UMC and attended Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta. Ordained in the UMC in 1990, she has served at several churches in the North Georgia Conference, as well as on the Board of Ministry for the Conference. Her husband, Herzen, leads Hillside UMC in Woodstock and they are the proud parents of two adult sons.

Amanda Lane
Associate Pastor
Having felt the call to ministry in middle school, Pastor Amanda credits her home church with nurturing her call, as her church family encouraged her growth in faith and gave her opportunities to grow in leadership. She attended Presbyterian College in South Carolina, where she majored in Christian Education and minored in Spanish. She attended seminary at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, was ordained as an elder in the United Methodist Church in 2013, and served at several churches in the North Georgia Conference before being appointed to Midway UMC in May 2021. Amanda loves to work with people of all ages, helping them to grow in their faith and finding hands-on ways to live out that faith. Her husband, Victor, is an English teacher and soccer coach. They have two young sons and as a family, the Lanes enjoy hiking and being outdoors. They are also fans of UGA and Atlanta United.

Pedro Silva
Communications Pastor
Experienced professional in Marketing and Advertising he moved from Brazil with his wife and kids to the USA in 2013. He has a degree in Advertising and two graduate degrees in Marketing and Communications. Pedro attended seminary at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, was certified as a Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church in 2016, and served as a Global Missions Pastor and Pastor in Charge of churches in the North Georgia Conference.
He was appointed to Midway UMC in April 2022. Pedro loves technology, design, video production and soccer. His wife, Flavia, is a Spiritual Formation Coordinator and Bible teacher at Mount Pisgah Christian School. They have two sons.

Beth Dotson
Preschool Director
As the Director of the Midway Preschool/F.U.N. Kidz staff, Beth focuses on providing a loving Christian environment where children are able to experience positive physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual growth. Beth has been blessed by Midway’s children and their families since 1998.

Tiffany Williams
Director of Children and Family Ministries
Tiffany has many years of experience working with children and has an energy about her that is infectious! She loves Jesus and wants others to love him too!

Judy Harris
Ministry Assistant
As the Ministry Assistant, Judy provides a warm welcome to visitors during the week, and leads a wide range of office support functions, including some communications responsibilities, tracking data used in analyzing church growth, and oversight of the office support team of volunteers. She is active in the music ministry and volunteered in the church office and many other areas for many years.

Jane Scudder
Minister of Congregational Care
Having served as the Minister of Music and Worship Arts at Midway for 24 years, Jane retired from that role in May 2021 and now assists pastors in caring for the spiritual and emotional well-being of our congregation, with hospital visits and homebound Communion and visitation, as well as coordinating Midway's active Walk to Emmaus community. Jane was also commissioned in June 2021 as a Stephen Minister and leader of the Stephen Ministry team at Midway.

Kirk and Melissa Grizzle
Directors of Music
Local parents may recognize the Grizzles, as they are both very well-known in the Forsyth County Public School system. Melissa is the choral director at Vickery Creek Middle School. Kirk is the Fine Arts Chair and Director of Choral and Theatre Arts at Denmark High School. He has also worked with adults in his role leading The Forsyth Singers. Both have overseen numerous award-winning vocal ensembles and theatre productions over their years in education, and are widely respected in their field.

Lincoln Wood
Pianist
Lincoln started playing in church at age 14 and has served churches throughout North Georgia since 1998. An alumni of the University of Georgia, Lincoln works in downtown Atlanta where he focuses on electric vehicles. Lincoln and his wife Charlene live in Milton with their two boys.
